Welcome to the website of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Columbus chapter. NABA is an association of professionals dedicated to serving the public interest by promoting and advocating for the Accounting profession and by delivering services and programs to aid members in the management of their professional obligations. We strive to be a model of excellence in member service and member satisfaction, by finding and meeting member needs which will better serve their employers. Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP-Ohio)
The Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP-Ohio) is a week-long all-expense paid campus residency program for minority high school students to explore careers in accounting – a profession with countless opportunities!
ACAP-Ohio 2014 will be held June 8 – 13 at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business in Columbus. ACAP-Ohio is a fully-supervised program open to minority high school students in Ohio. Participants experience the real world of business through informative workshops, interactive discussions, corporate tours and mentoring sessions led by CPAs and other business professionals. Student participants are also eligible to win one of several ACAP-Ohio college scholarships. Presented by the National Association of Black Accountants, The Ohio CPA Foundation and The Ohio Society of CPAs, ACAP-Ohio 2014 marks the 19th annual event.
